Make a Donation | Dollars For Dater

Chris “Dater” Neale is a local musician/artist from the Paw Paw/Kalamazoo Michigan area. He played with with numerous local musicians around the area, (many of whom are playing for his benefit on January 20^th) before making his way out to San Diego and finally ending up in Austin, Texas where he currently resides. At the end of October, Chris was admitted to the Brackenridge Hospital in Austin where they found a mass the size of a football in his abdomen. After having it removed the doctors determined that it was a soft tissue cancer referred to as “Liposarcoma”. It is a rare cancer typically found in older patients and his doctors are currently trying to figure out the best way to treat the remaining cancer.

Once word of Chris’ need for assistance was known, “Dateraid” and www.dollarsfordater.com was created uniting friends from California to The Netherlands, from Austin, TX back to the Paw Paw/Kalamazoo MI and many other places, in order to raise funds to help with his aftercare treatments and current medical expenses.

We welcome anyone and everyone to come to the Dateraid to enjoy all of the local music, partake in the silent auction and meet our good friend “Dater”.
